Some while ago I posted that I have problems running my BVision (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=28543) card. And that I was in contact with DCE (by phone). They were to send me a disk, that supposedly should upgrade my firmware to get the BVision to work...
But now the second week is passing by, and no disk...
Whats up with DCE?
-
Heh, do an amiga.org and a google groups search on DCE.
-
DCE is still in business, unfortunately, the Amiga no longer is their business.
-
Yeah, I mailed them about upgrading rev on a bppc. They had stopped Amiga stuff in 2004 i think.

That is the same reply I got from them when I called them.
But the guy I spoke to said he'd send a floppy disk that would contain the firmware upgrade... That is now two weeks ago...
I will call them in the morning, for the last time...
If i don't get any help then, I will put away my Amiga, again.. for some time... A loooong time....

Isn't it possible to source that Firmware update through the internet?
-
Try here : http://powerup.amigaworld.de/ (http://powerup.amigaworld.de/)

I have tried the powerup site...
I tried the forum (http://powerup.amigaworld.de/forum/index.php?action=vthread&forum=5&topic=25), and you see the answer i got...

Why anyone would want DCE to repair their hardware is beyond me. Do a search.

Because so far DCE is probably the only company with the required tecknology to repair the PPC cards...
Especially when it comes to firmware upgrade...
