2: Cybernetix - Blair Zuppicich (Main Menu)
3: Agony - Martin Wall & Robert Ling (Ending)

Lots of good game tunes, but definately the ones from Psygnosis games.
I have them all saved somewhere, but hope to find them soon.. :-)

The intro of cannon fodder has to be the most impressive Amiga music i have ever heard.

* Turrican (1, 2 and 3)

Press Play on Tape (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kohXduOpvl4) did Cannon Fodder great! :-)
-
No matter how much you hate me for it... I think the best theme music for a game on the Amiga is... Lemmings 2 ...

I have all the Lotus level loading music, intro and end theme on my iPod. I looped the level loading bits to make them a bit longer, because they were just 30 secs originally. Yes, that's geeky and I love it whenever the shuffle play hits one of the Lotus tracks when I'm driving my car :-D
-
@cpfuture
Pure genius man.
Lotus 2 makes me wanna drive me really fast and smash into a tree!!!
-
In no order, at least the following comes to my mind:
Super Cars-series
Lost Patrol
Atomino
Super Scramble Simulator
Turrican-series
... and hundreds more :-)
-
Whittakers Xenon II

Space Crusade credits
Pinball Illusions credits

From the top of my head:
1. Turrican 2
2. Lost Patrol
3. Pinball Dreams
4. Flashback
5. The Settlers
...though I could come up of with a top 50 easily :-)
-
The top 3 of mine ..I mean the whole tracks not just one tune..
1:Settlers "could hear that music for several hours ingame with out going crazy.."
2:yo joe "simply awsome" Really wonder why this game diddent get more credit than it did...
3:Simon the sorcerer "my favorite game, everything seems to be well done in that game"
-
Wow, never expected 20 replies! Thanks for the posts, certainly some interesting view-points. I have three others I can think off from the top of my head which were also impressive.
* Banshee - Martin Iveson (Menu Music).
* Shadow of the Beast 2 - Tim Wright (Death music).
* Most other games composed by Blair Zuppicich & Olof Gustafsson.
Although I did think the Mega Drive/Genesis version of that Shadow of the Beast 2 death tune was a bit better some-how. Shame it's only 38 seconds long. :-(

Turrican I & II, Xenon II, Speedball 2, Hired Guns, Lemmings, Settlers, Alien Breed 3D CD32, Skidmarks II, Dr. Mario (by Trash), Lotus I, 2 and III, New Zealand Story, Pinball Dreams, Pinball Illusions...
...I'm sure I can think of more...

I think all games from psygnosis are beautifull (Cannon Fodder is the best, IMHO). The composer past away a few weeks ago, RIP.:-(
If you want a very good collection of Mods, Total Chaos AGA (avaliable on Aminet) is impressive, too.:-D
And, of course, The Killing Game Show (Psygnosis? I don't remember:getmad:), Walker (intro & gameover), and a pletora of great games.
Oh, and JUMPING JACKSON! Great "stones" song.:-D

The Amiga musics I prefer are :
1. Some musics from the game "Rody & Mastico", the best balanced compositions I have heard on the Amiga. I have never identified their composer.
2. Jean Baudlot's soundtracks for "Les Voyageurs du Temps" ("Future Wars" in English) and "Operation Stealth", featuring a fairly unique expressionist approach of music, that suits the module format very well.
3. "Project One" by Karsten Obarski : while most Amiga musics from demos or the 90's tend to cover up the perfectible quality of the 8-bit sounds instead of exploiting it, "Project One" is in my opinion as outstanding today as it seemed insignificant in the Amiga's glorious time.
-
Hybris is by far my favorite I think. It was one of the earlier games but had really really great music.
2nd place would probably be Stormlord, which was really well done.
-
Slam Tilt
Disposable Hero
Roketz
-
No-one mentioned Populous II... one of my favs.
-
Pinball Fantasies
Hero Quest
Hero Quest II
Lotus III
Cannon Fodder
TFX
(Wings)
(Wings of Fury)
(Powerdrive)
-
