FroggerNG (2.06) is by far the most supportive of the two programs it supports the following media types:

As you can see Frogger has a huge list of support, Moovid hasn't got so many codecs to offer but is the fastest of the two. MooVid supports the following:
AVI and MOV files in a single executable.
QT streaming video (QT3+), and QT 64bit files.
INTEL INDEO 3.1 & 3.2 (IV31/IV32)
The information here is cut and paste from the docs so it should be pretty reliable...
MooVid as I mentioned before is the fastest decoder on my 060, but I guess if you have a PPC speed wouldn't be so much of a problem if you're just going to watch movies.
In short:
Frogger has the best support
MooVid has greatest speed (on my 060 anyway, don't know if anyone will say the opposite)
Hope this helps you out a bit.

No contest. Frogger is faster, supports more streams, and is PPC native. MooVid, as far as I know, is not. And you'll never be able to play a divx on 68k anyway.
-
MooVid 1.5 is also PPC native, but it has some twirks to it. As far as I recall it has acceleration on all of it's supported codecs beside INDEO.
The auther says that he'll give all codecs PPC support if he sees interest for it...
-
Moovid is fast, supports divx etc and doesn't crash.
Frogger is slow, crashes but supports lots of formats...
-
Instead of popping off an opinion, I'll just throw up the URLs :-)
Frogger: Frogger Rules (http://frogger.rules.pl)
MooVid: HomePage (http://www.dfmk.hu/~torokl/MooVId.html)
I know I didn't answer the question, but I figured the websites needed to be listed here.
-
My BlizzardPPC 603e@300(66MHz BUS) is not
enough for normal playback of DIVX in higher
resolutions than 340x280
Maybe it's because of context switching between
68k and PPC
Maybe OS4 for BPPC will speed up the things....
:-(

I would say frogger supports a lot of formats but counterpart is players are not optimised so fully used cpu to play a little mp3.
Both are shareware.
Depends on how fast is your machine.

I thought it looked like moovide hade more than three supported codecs when I saw there list on therer webbsite.
