@keropi

I think there was an upgrade for the 486slc 25mhz that was avail. it was a chip that clipped on over the original CPU. I think it might have been from Evergreen or something similar. I don't know if this would be a total answer for you but it might be an option to get a faster CPU.

Here is some info. I found not much but give it a try and see what happens Link (http://www.tile.net/vendors/?v_id=735)

@amesie2 :

just grabbed from ebay a 386sx upgrade with a 50mhz slc... it fits on the goldengate but I don't know if it will work... if it won't, I will just use it on my IBM 386sx PS1/pro  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

The upgrade should work perfectly as the 486slc was just a modified 386sx (with its 16mb limitation) who was optimised and faster but don't expect to much of this product it is not comparable to any 486 (SX or DX) but it is the fastest PC card made for the amiga.

Just one other thing: as far as I can remember 486slc2 could run faster than 50mhz (80mhz was the maximum) as far as you can raise bus frequency ...
