Title: Amiga Freespace and Parallax Online

Does anyone know if the Parallax Online (www.pxo.net (http://www.pxo.net)) gaming service works in the Amiga version of Freespace? I've been trying to select it but every time I activate it in the prefs and come back it's deactivated.

Anyone ever got this to work?

So basically what I'm asking is: was parallax online support ever added to Amiga Freespace or is it shown but not implemented? There is no documentation on this at all.

I know members of Hyperion do visit ocassionally - one of you will know?

I asked this question on the mailing list some time ago when I bought the game and Hyperion replied it will not work with parallax online, you have to set up a server yourself on your machine or find someone who did it. Never played it through internet although I would like very much to (but not sure if phone line can cope)

When you DO get online with Freespace its a real blast though. :)

Sadly enough my Amiga hasn't the power to run the Amiga version but I've had much fun with the PC version.
