EBay linky clicky! (http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120110654246&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:NL:31)
This is my first ever EBay auction :-)
I hope I filled in everything alright, I can't seem to find where I change the box "shipping to:" though...
It now says only The Netherlands, but I'll ship worldwide.
-
Good luck selling it!
It might be a good idea to describe the cosmetic condition of the casing since you don't include any pics of the actual drive =).
-
That might be a good idea, forgot about that :-)
In the meanwhile, I still haven't found where to change the option "shipping to:"
I'll just keep on searching....

I might be interested in this but why do you only accept PayPal if outside the EU? I only ever pay for things on eBay via PayPal, I trust nothing else.

Because I hardly ever (I think 3 times in the last year) use Paypal, so any money I have on my Paypal account is pretty much worthless and useless to me. Transferring money from Paypal to my bank account is out of the question since the amounts are too small and the fees are too high.
Transferring money via bank in the EU is free (except maybe for exchange fees from another currency to Euro - don't know that for sure), and money which is in my bank account is money I CAN use. That's why I prefer bank transfer.
But if you really, really do not wish to use your bank, Paypal is alright with me as well :-)

You're correct. Here in England where we use the pound, we have to pay very high charges for bank transfers even to EU countries.

Thats not exactly true. There are two things: "EU" and "Euro-zone" and they are often misplaced. Member of EU isnt automatically member of euro-zone.
Ie. when i want to pay to somebody in germany, it will cost me 9 Eur just for bank transfer (fee).
Germany and Czech rep. are both members of EU, but Czech republic isnt member of euro-zone.
Hope it clears some misunderstandings...

True dat. I make that mistake often as well :-?
I've added a description to the auction, to make it more clear.

*I* don't want those prices, the Dutch Mail/TNT does
But these are the tariffs for packages from 2-5 kg, including insurance, track&trace and return to sender in case something goes wrong.
Cheaper shipping is possible, but only for packages under 2kg, and without insurance or any possible way to follow the package if it gets stuck somewhere...

Well, it shows how much of an eBay n00b I am. I put somewhere in the ad that the buyer had to pay for Paypal fees, but apparently that's against eBay guidelines.... How the hell was I supposed to know that? :destroy:
Yeahyeah, it's somewhere in the terms & conditions, but who reads those anyway? :-)
Good. I'll try again then, going by the rules this time (I hope).

Yeah, you just have to make sure that the minimum selling price at least covers paypal and ebay fees or add those to the shipping costs.
