Title: What's this OS 3.9 kickstart?
Post by: reddwarfer on April 18, 2007, 05:20:01 PM
Just looking on "Workbench Nostalgia" website on OS 3.9
They have a screenshot of the kickstart being 3.9....As far as I know the highest kickstart is 3.1 - how does this work?

The OS3.9 ROM Updates have been incorporated in to a 3.1 ROM image then either BlizKicked or burned to an EPROM.

Just the ROM updates from OS3.9 that has patched the Kickstart ROM. Just like if you install patches through BlizKick.

If you (soft)reset your Amiga with Os3.9 and disable all bootable harddisks you will get this screen.  ;-)

I wanna see this screen! But my A1200T with 3.1 ROMS BPPC just sits on black screen when all drives are disabled. (waited for ages too, just in case 3.1 ROM boot delay was longer than I remembered.  :-?
