rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Since joining these forums I have received threats from both people and dogs. I am amazed that the moderators would permit this to continue. I did not join the forum for death threats. I joined because of a dearth of cat opinions on the forum.
I have not responded appropriately but from where I sit on my A500, I am not certain how to react to cat haters without employing some of their own aggressive tactics. Whereas I recognize that dogs have no control over themselves, their owners should have control over their slaves. You people are their masters. They cannot do enough to please you. What a sad existence.
Dogs have never done anything that cats have not done. They have saved lives, searched for narcotics, comforted the afflicted, afflicted the comfortable, provided food for their people and given their lives for their country. All because we like you, not because our genes require it of us.
Does anyone remember when W passed out dead drunk in the White House and his two dogs just sat there looking stupid? They were imitating their master. I'm surprised they didn't finish his liquor for him. I'd have curled up and laid on him to keep him warm (me too).
A woman's cat attacked and helped to drive off the man brutalizing his person while her two dogs did a W and just sat there drooling. The cat also stayed with her until the PD arrived. A cat in UK dialed 999 (911 in the US) when her elderly person had a heart attack. The man had tried to teach her but quit because he thought she didn't learn anything. Surprise. She got it the first time, unlike dogs.
A cat was trained by the CIA for undercover work, putting a wire on the cat for surveillance. The idiots put the cat out on a busy street where the cat was immediately run over by a taxi. As useless as dying for W's vendetta.
Cats help the sick and elderly in hospitals and nursing homes and hospices. Some cats can tell the medical staff which patient is nearest to dying so they can ease the patient's transition.
For thousands of years cats have protected humanity's food supplies.
My favorite dog is a basenji. They behave just like us cats. They're great.
Dogs and their owners should quit whining. There. I said it. Back off you doggies and doggie daddies.

Right. Joke's over, go back to your original account and quit it. Having multiple accounts is quite forbidden if I am not mistaken.
-edit-
Hmpf...I'm grumpy old git mode at the moment it seems.

For reasons this cat doesn't understand a lot of people have responded rather adamantly to me and one another. Is what began as fun about to end in tragedy? No cat desires to stay where he is unwanted.
It was never intended as anything but amusement and a light hearted cat's eye view.
But these posts seem to have stirred a lot of interest. Amiga.org, shall this cat go or stay?

I disagree.
They're great with a dash of soy sauce and some bismati rice.

Whats with the sudden influx of nutjobs and overly enthusiastic "born agains", this used to be such a nice place...
If your going to crapflood and/or troll, at least make it interesting

It'll never again get as bad as CU_Amiga and his multiple personality syndrome.

Cats rule.
Dogs are slaves - cats are citizens.

Well, CU_Amiga is back here at Amiga.org. He has been here for some time, posting under another name.
Ja, I found out.
So far he has been behaving himself. This could be the new improved CU_Amiga.
