Anyone know somewhere I can purchase locally in NZ? Have a poor A1200 in peices waiting for some sort of Accelerator card, even a RAM expansion would be fine. Have put in a 4gb HDD (cant run os 3.9 :() and loaded it with whdload games but keep running out of RAM trying to play any of them. A shame because it would make a great little Amiga gaming machine. Once it's running I can then finally sell off my A500's and CD32 ;) (CD32 needs a damn controller but thats another story:()

Try sending an email to:
amigaak@maxnet.co.nz
This is the email address for Trevor Gardiner of the Amiga Aukland user group, a user group that covers Australasia as a whole, is recognised by Amiga inc. and has over 60 members.
I hope they can help you out.

Thanks for the information! :) It's much appreciated, it's a really hit and miss down here getting classic hardware. Actually any Amiga hardware.
Will try contacting them and will let you know what happens :)
Thanks again!

Fairly low chance of finding a working A1200 CPU board by itself here in NZ.
Have a look on Amibench, you can place a wanted add there as well.

There are always accelerators and RAM expansions on eBay. Most sellers will ship internationally.

will check out amibench. Would purchase of ebay but dont have access to a credit card (not a big fan) although my bank now supports direct debit state side so could be an option. Would use pay pal but they dont support NZ banks, well for transferring money into paypal.. no hassles getting money from pay pal to my bank however :)
Ahh, bring back the days of being able to walk into a store and purchase Amiga gear... I keep hitting rewind but no luck so far :)
If anyone knows of any computer fairs? I know there is one that is supposed to be in Glenfield somewhere, I might get lucky and find some old gear :)
Thanks everyone for the replies you have been very help full :)

No reply from amigaak@maxnet.co.nz. Looks like I will have to try and set something up through ebay.
Thanks again for the help.

Give him a bit longer to respond. It can't hurt.

Yeah I'm in no rush :) Would be nice to get some retro gaming in again. have Winuae but it's not the same..
Although I could always setup the a500+ with A590, but no games on the disk and the floppy drive is dead :/
