... the CGX V4 upgrade without having the CD-rom?

I don't even have a cd-drive in my Amiga

By using spatch.
Or making original cd-rom files available on some other media with correct volume name.

I don't know. I haven't noticed (and therefore used) it :) But those two mentioned methods I've used successfully :)

What is spatch and how do i use it?

You can't.

If you buy the product you get the CD and then can copy the files over using some other means (for example use PC to transfer the files using serial, or use 720KB PC formatted floppies, and say for example ARJ packer).

Well... the problem is that the install program asks for CyberGraphX_4 cd-rom....

The installer prompts "insert the right disk to continue"

But i found a way around, that was to remove all posts in install script that refers to #needCD

And that worked fine....
