Antz - kinda like worms. Was missing AI for one player though.
Black Dawn - RPG. Looked amazing but I either completely sucked at it, or it only had a small dungeon filled with dead ends.
Psycheval or Psychual - Alien Breed rip-off. I remember this was re-made for the Net Yaroze.
Deluxe Galaga - seen a thread on here about this, so I don't think an introduction is necessary
Llamatron - also needs no introduction
Advanced Lawnmower Simulator - I made a tribute to this called "Advanced Ironing Simulator" in Blitz. It featured a fake Guru Meditation screen, including the power LEDs flashing before it appeared.
Zombie Apocalype II - Completely over the top shooter. Included full Blitz source code

Some good games in that list :-) There were so many great PD games for the Amiga that I can't even begin to remember them somehow

I had sooo many coverdisks with pd games, and a lot of stuff downloaded from Aminet that I too can't even remember where to start, let alone where to finish :-)
Maybe I should dig up some of those coverdisks again to help me remember more of the good old days :-)

The CUCDs and AFCD were always full of fun little gems :-) Think I've still got my CUCDs somewhere. Might dig them out!

I've got about 60 or 70 CUCD's and AFCD's and some others which I haven't even checked yet (I only collected them the last year).... I guess when I start exploring all software that I have on CD/disk/tape I'll be occupied for a decade or so

Mortal Komquat!

Tanx!
ALL GUNS COMMENCE FIRING!!!!!!!!!

I didn't have and couldn't have afforded a CD-ROM drive, so the CUCD's were such a tease!
I used to sit and read the contents in the mag, or read (but obviously not run) the contents on my Dad's Mac. Oh, back in the day!
I had access to the Aminet at school, but downloads were limited to one 700k floppy worth per day!
I remember Tanx... we had another one called "Scorched Earth" which was better - all kinds of weird weapons. Tanx had pretty good graphics though, plus the physics (fans etc)

Scorched Earth was the PC version. Scorched Tanks was the Amiga spin-off. Another good Scorched Earth spin-off is Frontal Assault (http://apex-designs.net/frontalassault.html). I'll be porting Frontal Assault to the next generation Amigas and PC as soon as Mattathias Basic is ready. :-)
