Being a bit bored with my Amiga's at the moment I felt I had to trt IFusion PPC (latest updated) on my A4000, Cyberstorm PPC etc
I configured it to use my SCSI DVD-ROm and a partition to install OS9 on but when the OS9 install happily started it failed to initialize my "disk" (partition) and just rendered it and another partition uninitialized instead :-o
Shall I use a separate disk for OS9 or is IFusion buggy with the Cyberstorm SCSI? I've read in old posts here that people have used SCSI with IFusion

Fusion (68K) managed to trash one of my Amiga partitions when formatting a Mac partition above the 4GB barrier. If there's any similar code, the same thing could be happening. Better use a separate disk (and unplug your main disk) to be extra safe.

That's a bad start!
Can't you use a hardfile with iFusion?

Going to use an old 1.2gig Quantum IDE drive as a victim with a SCSI-->IDE adapter ;-)

I'm experencing some problems with Ifusion too.
i tried to install MacOS 8.6, but after I configure it and lunch the emulation I only get a black screen that is switchable with the workbench one and the amount of memory given to macos emulation disappear from the workbench bar. AmigaOS is still completely usable though.
I have a 200Mhz CSPPC a Picasso IV and a Voodoo3 (on a mediator) all used with Picasso96, moreover I tried to install it both on a SCSI3 Partition and on a IDE one with the same result.
What's wrong?

What's wrong?
Other than the program being incomplete and utter cr*p?

Good ol' Jim Drew

It doesn't work with P96 as it should but should show a screen with cut and interchanged parts of the screen. The P96 guys never released the needed patch. CGX is a working solution.

@Reflex
Early versions of the Mediator 1200 shipped with CGX drivers for Voodoo 3. I don't know how complete they are but it might be a solution if you can get them from someone.

oh nice!
So now I have 3 new problems!
1)I have to find Cybergraphx 4
2)I have to find voodoo3 drivers for it
3)I have to create a completely different Workbench partition just to use Ifusion (as I understand I can't use P96 and CGX4 at the same time).
Am I wrong?
:boohoo:

2)I have to find voodoo3 drivers for it
They don't exist I think :-?
I have an alternate boot partition with CGX4 to use with PicassoIV or CV64/3D. But by just changing monitor driver before reboot P96 and CGX4 can be used on the same partition - then the wrong screenmode prefs cause the wb screen to open on 16 col 640x480 PAL and needs to be reset onto RTG. The earlier versions of P96 and CGX did clash.

Cybergraphx 4 is commercial and can be bought at AmigaKit.com for example.
Voodoo won't work with CGX but you could use the PicassoIV.
And third: theoretically you could use both P96 and CGX on one partition but it would be unpractical as you'd have to be careful and move monitor files around.

There are CGX Voodoo 3 drivers I've got them on a disk that came with My mediator 1200 I think they work with CGX v3.
As far as I know they the disk came with everything they need to run RTG. The drivers were an early version before a row between Elbox and CGX team.
All my classic stuff is at my parents. I'll try to make time to find them at the weekend if someone else can't get them to you first.
