Being a bit curious about alternative OSes, I was wondering if anyone knew a bit more about what's going on with the makers of the Zeta OS?
A few weeks ago, their site (http://www.zeta-os.com/cms/news.php) announced something that seemed to suggest they were in difficulty.
Now there's a new post suggesting something about legalities.
Is this another Amiga-like get the pop-corn out saga?
Geesh! Well, that's too bad.

Nevermind. I think I found everything I wanted to know on Bebug (http://www.bebug.be/index.php).

Lemme see...
Arrogant German coder with no social skills. Check!
Dubious legal position with regard to licencing. Check!
Out of date OS patched up like a polished turd. Check!
Sounds very Amiga-like to me. ;-)

I've been following this and I REALLY hope all turns out well! BeOS is my X86 Amiga! Has been for years! I hope nothing but for Haiku to succeed!

Are you saying that you use Zeta's Amiga emulator?

Thanks for the good laugh!
But then, I tried Zeta 1.2 and quite liked it on my rusty old laptop. I was hoping to get my hands on 1.21 and 1.5.
Oh well.
