I accidentally deleted the āCā folder so I re installed OS 3.9 over the top of the last installation (along with both boing bags) Now at boot up I get the error messages:
Error: 0100 0003 Task: 78015DF8 or 78017BF0
Any ideas as to how to fix this?

try this: boot from the emergency disk and reinstal the boing bags...
amiga os 3.9 updates (http://os.amigaworld.de/index.php?lang=en&page=12)
-
Yes already used the emegency disk to re-indtall the boing bags as well :-(
-
Should I perhaps reformat my System partition and start all over??
-
Are you by chance using an Amiga 3000? I see your sig says you own and A500 and A1200, though.
-
Nah, my problem is with my A1200.
-
Well...just try removing AmiDock from WBSTARTUP and see if it helps.
-
No luck with the startup. I did a reformat and re installation. All ok now! Thanks for the advice :-)
-
Well... all was ok until I installed boing bag 2 this morning. Now I get the same error again!!! I also tried removing amidock from the startup once again.
-
Download SnoopDOS (http://aminet.net/util/moni/SnoopDos.lha) from aminet and put it in the startup-sequence, they will tell you what's wrong.
Or use other debugging tool.

SnoopDos looks like a useful tool thanks! The error messages have magicly disappeared. Perhaps it was/is an intermittent hardware fault? Hopefully all is well again :-)

The new ROM update included in BB2 might cause problems. Have you installed it? If so, disable (rename) it in DEVS: and enable the the older one.

I would rather install some antivirus (http://www.vht-dk.dk/vhtdk/amiga/download.htm), just to be sure.
