Well, my friend doesn't know what kind of CD-burner he should buy.
What i have looked support for different drives are quite limited or is it?
So question:
What kind of burners you guys use with classics and fryingpan. And does it burn 800mb cd's.
Thanks very much for answers already...

First question, what Amiga does he have? Does it have SCSI or just IDE?

from page:
*So far the program has been reported to work properly with following drives:*
Yes, i'm aware of that page, but i'm asking has anyone tried with other burners, with something that is not in list? And possibly with 800mb cd's

i would just try an old IDE burner, install Fryingpan/Makecd (wich now is free) and test.

He has both registered, what drive you are using?
does it burns 800mb discs?

Hi, I am using a LiteOn 20x DVD-R/RW drive with MakeCD.
AFAIK, most new CD-R/W or DVD-R drives should work with MakeCD,
at least, and prob. fryingpan as well. I use the 'CDR_SCSI3_ATAPI' driver. As far as getting
800MB on a CD, that may be pushing your luck, I haven't gotten
that much on a CD even using my PC and Nero 6  MakeCD
will let you try to burn >640MB on a disc, but my one attempt
to burn like 731MB to a CD, didn't work.
Also, from what I have read, certain drives and/or media
may not support 'overburn'.

LiteOn 8x here :P
