Only 40 minutes left and at $610.00! The last few seconds should be exciting! :-P
NEW Amiga 2000HD <----- clicky (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=010&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=200093982389&rd=1&rd=1)

I want to see something even more stellar than the $1500 Falcon that sold the other day. ;-)

Then I take it you missed the $3000+ Atari 1400XL computer that sold!!!

At least the 1400XL has an excuse. They are very rare, maybe just pre-production prototypes, whereas the Falcons were mass-produced (even if only for a short while).

Well, I expected it to go higher. But realistically, how much could it be worth. $500 seems about right to me (for someone who just *had* to have a new A2000) without any artificial bidding.
Pretty funny, a new 64C + disk drive sold for over $300 recently, while a day before the EXACT same thing went for $40. It's freakin' obvious what's going on with some of these auctions. It's even worse with cars. I've seen sub-$5000 Benzes sell for $20K. (Yeah right, who's going to pay $20K for a 240D??)

I did. I generally don't check out Atari stuff that often. (Though I did happen to wander across a few memorable Apple II auctions last year.)
