Title: Simple questions
Post by: Starrunner on March 30, 2007, 05:49:50 PM
1.  An A3000 with an upgraded Ramsey and DMAC chip, with the 68030 @25Mhz, can it surf the internet, and support networking in a house full of PCs?

2.  Are there any upgrades for the processor?  (I think there was, but having spent so much time away from Amiga fried my brain.)

Thanks for the thoughts.

1. Yes, but with an 030 it won't be very quick. Also a graphics card would make the Internet much better on an Amiga.

2. Yes, you can get an 040 or 060 for an A3000, and (I think) a PPC board.

The A3000 can house most of the Amiga 4000 CPU boards except the Quikpak 4060 board due to it's dimensions
