Title: Amiga 4000 Desktop value?
Post by: Twosheds on March 29, 2007, 02:36:54 AM
I have an Amiga 4000 desktop, 16MB RAM, 120MB & 1GB hard Drives, scsi card, Opalvision board, 3.0 ROMs running OS3.1.
I am thinking of selling it.
What do you think I should put on it? Or should I just put it on eBay?

thanks

First it depends where it is since it will have to be shipped.

It should be worth about the average going price of a 133MHz pentium, but hey, this is Amiga we are talking about. 1 million dollars!

In Australia you may be able to get a fair bit as they are not common and still in good demand. On ebay you could see your A4000 go for between $500 and $650 USD

I'd like to quote our good friend Hyperspeed (http://www.amiga.org/userinfo.php?uid=9844):

Ten million pesos!

(Thanks Hyper, you made my day :D)
