As I recall a PC floppy will be of little use to you.
Try this site:_

yes, you can have a look at aminet hard/hack and past posts. You need to switch some wires on cable and add a diode. If its ESCOM by any chance, connecting PC floppy should be even simpler.

this one (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=11837)could help, too.
I think you need to connect cathode to Select0 and anode to RDY on Amiga side.
you also need to cross dischange wire. just look at pinouts on hwb (http://www.hardwarebook.info/)
BTW, its PCs fault these hacks are needed, because those floppies don't comply with Shugart standard.

Hi,
use the search function, i give some easy advices to relive old drives :rtfm:

Do all Sony MPF920 drives work with a small hack or are there only specific version. Reason I ask I have a stack of Sony MPF920-D versions at work that I may have to stuff in my back pack one day. :-)

Here (http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/9/12/214909/PC2Amiga_fdd.png) are the instructions.
You could also connect cathode to /MOTEB (/MTRON) that works too, but this seems better solution in case you got other drives. Someone, please verify..
Detailed information is here (http://pinouts.ru/Storage/InternalDisk_pinout.shtml)
