Title: Dinput8.dll not found (WinUAE)

Hmm,  I can't get WinUAE 0822R2 to run
after installing into AForever 5.0. (08R17?)

Winblowz complains about missing dll:
"DINPUT8.dll"
 :-?  Has anyone had this problem?

Although I haven't had that exact problem I do know that WinUAE requires DirectX 8 or higher.  You may wish to go to Microsoft's DirectX site (http://www.microsoft.com/directx) and download the latest package.  That should give you the DLL you are missing.

Hi Lo,

Installing (or re-installing) the latest DirectX version should fix it.

IIRC Amiga Forever installs by default in a different dir then WinUAE (/Cloant/Amiga Forever/Emulator ? vs /WinUAE/ ?), so you might want to check if the dll you're looking for isn't misplaced..

Ah.. Weird.. Maybe that will fix my display troubles in WinUAE also..
