I upgrade most 040 cards to 060.
Also, i specialize in Apollo turbocards both repairs and upgrades.
Please PM or mail for details.

I intend to take you up on this offer at some stage.
Bit tight just now as I'll be going overseas for a few weeks.
In the meantime, can you link to any testimonials of your work?

Since i have received questions about the upgrade cost, here are the prices for Apollo & Blizzard 1240 (prices are subject to change):
upgrade price is 1250 SEK (Swedish Crowns) and includes:
Cpu MC68060RC50 (mask 71E41J)
Cpu socket
Voltage regulator + header
Eprom with 060 firmware (Apollo)
50Mhz crystal oscillator
Manual + Install Disk (Apollo)
All the work...
The Cpu is the most expensive part, i will hopefully have some LC cpu:s (no Fpu) in stock soon for a budget upgrade also.
The price for a LC upgrade will be around 850 SEK.
It will be very easy to replace the LC cpu with a full, because the cpu will be in a socket.
Worldwide, fully inshured shipping cost is 150 SEK, (im located in Sweden).
Currency calcutor can be found here:
http://www.xe.com/ucc/
Important: a Mach 131 bus chip must be onboard the Apollo.
If you have the older Mach 130 (look at the chip) an upgrade to Mach 131 is necessary and cost 200 SEK.
A tower + overclocking kit for Apollo with 32MB Ram, SIMM holder, 80Mhz crystal and active cooler is also available for 250 SEK.
Most Apollo 1260 with the remarkable 71E41J cpu can be overclocked to 80Mhz.

PG:
Just wondering if you would sell some of the 060 with the 1E41J mask on its own, and if so how much?
Thanks
-
Yes, if you buy only the cpu the price is 750 SEK.
Btw, i wrote 1E41J by mistake, (post now edited).
Of course it is mask 71E41J since it is an MC cpu.. :-)

Okay! i got my BPPC back from PG in Sweden.
Just wanted to share with you all the SUPERB work that he did. The quality of the soldering is FANTASTIC.
He desoldered my 040, soldered a perfectly fitting Socket. Installed a lovely 68060 with mask 71E41J, added a socket for the oscillator, changed multiplier to keep PPC speed mostly unchanged but 060 speeds at upto 64mhz and flashed the firmware. Tested the board and posted it back - insured.
I have since added a 60mhz oscillator, heatsink and fan to 060,it booted perfectly first try!

Is there any possibility to upgrade an A1200 Blizzard 030 to 040, or there is no chance? :-?
