Yes! I repaired both a ZX81 and ZX Spectrum 128
:-D
The zx81's video modulator was broken. I replaced it with a composite video signal. Too easy :-D
The keyboard of the ZX spectrum 128 was broken. The 'flat cables' connected to the motherboard seemed to be burned trhough. I cut the connectors from the motherboard, cut the flat cable before the burnt part, soldered threads between the connector and the motherboard, and connected the flat cables in the connector (extra firmly with some tape.
Men, that was some soldering! But it works :-D :-D :-D

Congrats :-) I wish I had your soldering skills!

It's having a steady hand that's the problem for most people, in my experience.

Really?
I think it's not much different than writing, and I think many ppl overrate it's difficulty.
Anyway, my parents were amazed by my soldering skills, they never thought I'd be able to do that, since I am a titbit autistic, so I have difficulties with coordinated movements. I am very bad at sports and so.

It's a focus thing. Generally, my fine-motorics are so bad, that they tested me for ADHD when I was a kid, but when it comes to handling precision screw drivers, then I'm your man.
