Title: Amiga 1000 + Dell PC-based "floppy server" on eBay
Post by: blakespot on March 13, 2007, 10:34:29 AM
Amiga 1000 + Dell PC running Windows, acting as a floppy server / peripheral simulator.  Just saw this linked on an Atari forum.  Interesting stuff.

He's only selling the PC, not the A1000.

It looks like the software and cables run almost $60.00 for the Amiga. (would make the eBay sale a good deal) The way it reads, it seems we have to cross compile the programs we want to use. An interesting idea. Apparently can even work with Atari 5200?! and C-64.

Would be nice to see the user interface, if it is DOS based or Win based.
