Title: cant use WHDLoad in OS 3.9 any ideas?

hi downloaded WHDLoad_usr from aminet but  dont know how to use it in OS 3.9 any ideas i have tryed using the guide from ancient toys but thats for 3.1?

it should work in the same way

did u use the installer that came with it?

otherwise d/l the version from the website www.whdload.de

WHDLoad is compatible with OS3.9 and 3.1. So there's no problem in that regard.

You use WHDLoad by installing it. Then you need install files for each game you want to install. These install files need the original floppies of the game you're trying to install. Some websites offer pre-installed WHDLoad games; then you don't need the floppies and install file.

Get the latest WHDLoad version and install files from www.whdload.de

Try reading the manual it's very detailed. The instructions work in exactly the same way on 3.9 as they do for 3.1.

it installs fine its when it comes to installing the games thats the problem every time i double click the adf file nothing happens?

Did you read the docs? Clicking an adf will get you no where!

You must install the game with a seperate install file or use a pre-installed WHDLoad game.
