Title: Project D and Software Excitement circa 1988
Post by: huronking on March 09, 2007, 03:34:28 AM
Anyone remember what those were? For some reason those
titles are itching the edge of my memory but I can't place
what they were.

Project D as far as I can remember was a disk copier. As I remember it worked fairly well for me at the time.

Software Excitement - Got me on that one!
I do remember this being the feeling I would experience whenever I would visit Warners in San Diego and see all of the cool new Amiga software.

Regards,
AmigaEd

Software Excitement was a PD software seller.   I had written a disk cataloging program and they had it on disk..I still have their magazine w/my screenshot & name next to it.. cool stuff.

Whoa, ProjectD! That was my brothers main disk copying program until he got X-Copy back in the early 90's. :-)

Man, I remember booting that up hundreds of times and playing tetris for hours!

The program was tetracopy btw.

Thanks everyone... Now I remember. Software excitement had
the dynamite stick for a cursor and projectd had that blue
gradient screen.

And thanks for showing your age in remembering that!
