Title: mystery BOOT DISK mystery
Post by: weirdami on March 07, 2007, 05:42:27 AM
I've been digging around in all the Amiga stuff I have, looking to sell things off and I came across a disk that just says

BOOT DISK
See Enclosed Instructions

That's it. Just a white label with that black text. I did find a plain white paper with "Boot Disk Instructions" on it, so I'm assuming they go together. I just don't know what  software they came with.

Best I can tell, from the instructions, is that the disk is for helping you boot into PAL on an NTSC machine because "This software you have purchased is imported from the U.K. and is in PAL."

Anyone got any ideas? Have you seen something like this? What sort of company puts things out like this?

Why not do a recursive directory listing on the disk and post the contents?
