I am reparing my Amiga 2000 rev. 4 .
But the expansion slots are defekt.
Non of the expansion cards are working in this machine.
In others they work very good.
So i have tried to replace several ic's but it doesn't work.
What is controling the expansion slots in the Amiga 2000?

Rossi:
With old Amigas (like the A2000) it's always wise to first check the clock-battery for leakage and for PCB damage caused by leakage. This area has to be verified to be OK before further trouble-shooting should take place.
The ports are controlled by Buster.
Something to be verified as well is the power supply of the A2000!

Oh somebody was first. Yes the battery thingie and reseat everything firmly.

Ron still owns the domain but the site where the site was hosted (www.fadbox.de) has been down for quite a while.
We (a few dutchmen on aw.net) have contacted Ron, and he will put the site back up Real Soon Now™. He will keep the domain for himself but the maintenance and control of the site will go to us, so we can at least try to keep it online :-)
