Hello,
I have bought a GVP 1230 II with the 1291 SCSI Kit on Ebay. Unfortunately without the manual. Can anybody send me the manual via Email or tell me the correct Jumpersettings? I did not find any information about that card in the Internet. (only from the first Series of the 1230)
Many thanks in advance!

Information and install disks can be found here (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/search.pl?amiga=1200&cat=scsi) and here (http://amigahardware.mariomisic.de/cgi-bin/showhardware_en.cgi?HARDID=132). I can't find the manual or anything on jumpersettings though.

Thank you for the links, but there is no information about the correct Jumpersettings. I become desperate, i searched the whole Internet but i didn't found any information about the Jaws II. Did GVP sell a so small batch of Jaws II?
Nobody else but me who uses this card?

Found something in this thread (http://groups.google.nl/group/comp.sys.amiga.hardware/browse_thread/thread/aac50ac1e395a570?hl=nl) on comp.sys.amiga.hardware
Is this what you need?

Hi,
that looks very interesting. In the evening i will test and compare my jumpersettings with them from the link you have given to me.
Many thanks. :)

I do have a manual to the A1200 GVP 1230 series 2 (and one for the optional SCSI expansion, too) around here. It's put away, though. If that other link doesn't help you out enough, let me know (PM me), and I can dig out mine and scan/e-mail you any sections you need. I don't remember it being terribly detailed, though. The whole thing might be around 15 or 20 pages.

Thats sounds great. Please can you be so kind and scan both manuals for me? Not only my person is searching for the manuals. I had asked in two popular german amiga boards before and nobody could gave me detailed information about both cards. Perhaps i find a opportunity to spread the manuals in the internet. (www.amiga-hardware.com) I must check the copyright situation before.
PS: Sorry about my english.

I must check the copyright situation before.
I don't think it would be a problem, I mean, the manual is quite useless to someone without the card. ;-) But, of course, it is always best to check (which is why I hadn't posted them anywhere, yet)
Fortunately, the manuals were in the very first box I looked in. (I'm starting to get organized -- there's just a lot of work left to go!!) I'll try to scan it tonight or tomorrow. Also, to my great surprise, I have a manual to the GVP 1230 Turbo+ series 1, as well.
So, in total, I have:
GVP 1230 Turbo+ Manual
GVP 1230 Turbo+ Series II Manual
GVP 1291 SCSI Option Manual

Great, thank you for your help!!! I have sent you my email via PM.

Please, don't forget to scan the manuals. :)
Thank you!

I didn't forget about ya... I do apologize for the delay, though. Let me know if they work for you. (rather large PDFs)

Many Thanks Tom for scanning and sending me the manuals.
Thank you
