Title: Amiga Quake's network support
Post by: kd7ota on March 02, 2007, 04:54:27 PM
Hello.

I know Quake is available for the Amiga, but not sure how well the network support was when it connected to Quakeworld servers.  I dont know how much power is needed in order to host a quake server or what server only can be run so that Amiga users can link up.  Any quake server I try to link its very laggy.

Any experienced quake users please tell us your experience.

Thanks :)

Don't know about the requirements but some info and Frank Wille´s QuakeWorld can be found here (http://sun.hasenbraten.de/qw/).

Hmm sounds like fun! I just got Quake for Amiga last month. I'd like to try it out! Got any servers I can try with my setup?
