Title: How do you create mp3's?
Post by: wurzel on February 28, 2007, 01:28:33 PM
Hi all,

It's been a while since I did this so I can't remember! I can save a raw or cdda file from MakeCD easily enough, but how do you then convert to an mp3 from that?

Both Lame & Secondspin crash my miggy, and when I use Mp3encode, all I get is a hissing noise.

Any suggestions welcome!

Try doing stack 100000 (should be enough) in shell before running Lame. Don't know if it helps.

One obvious check, are you running versions for right CPU? In other words, the one you have, with or without FPU.
