Hi, as some video places have gotten rid of their Amiga setups, I have acquired some bits and pieces. One of these is an Amiga 2000 with an old version of lightwave installed, however I got no documentation with it.
Any online tutorials for for these old versions? It seems like quite a capable piece of software, even if old.

Unfortunately, the place where you actually buy the Waveguide manual and find out how much it costs:

...seems to not exist.

Try contacting JaxAnim on this site. He runs the site.

Okay, but I'm a little worried: I did a Google search and Safe Harbour sells the manual for over $100 US!
Eeek!

Contact Newtek (http://www.newtek.com/contact.php) as they are the makers of Lightwave I am suer that they still have manuals kicking around for your version.

What version of Lightwave is it that you inherited?
I just found some 5.0 or 5.5 manuals the other week, a bit damp from their sojourn in the shed but they should dry out okay. Should be mostly relevant for V4.0 onwards.
Heavy buggers though. Maybe I could scan the important bits if you show me a genuine LW 'About' requestor.
I'd avoid JaxAnim. He's spent the past decade selling pirate copies of Lightwave in MicroMart. I doubt you'd get anything from him without a pricetag on it. I think he's on perma-ban at Amibench now.
