Hello,
I have problems loading games in Quake 2.
It works only one of ten tries. The system then hangs and I have to reboot.
Does anyone have the same probs ?
My config:
- A4000D + CSPPC + CVPPC
- OS39 + BB2 + CGX4 RC6 + WarpUp5.1 + Warp3D4.2a
- Quake2 PPC Update2
Thanks in advance.

What is your firmware ?
You can take the lastest for GREX4000.
Can you try to start it in windowed mode with snoopdos ?

Thanks for your reply.
I have the latest for GREX 2.2.
I started in MiniGL Window. First time all went fine. After reboot or after power down/up I get a PowerPC Exception Address Violation.
I don`t understand why it works from time to time and why the error doesn`t occur every time.
Any suggestions ?

try changin your RAM sticks

I found a solution.
I updated flash from 30.03.1999, without PCI support for GREX. Now it works every time I run Quake2 and load a game. No PowerPC exception anymore ?!?
