Well who knows if it will ever run any Amiga-like OS. Putting that all aside here is the Efika I bought. They don't make cases for it yet so this is a real low-rent affair I have going on here at the moment. And I slapped this together basically last evening.
Its in a 27 slice frozen cheese pizza box (minus the pizza and no longer a frozen box). The pizza was pretty good, even though its a store brand. :)
I digress...
I put two fans in the box, it really does not likely need it. But I put one intake in the front and an exhaust in the top. I have a hard mental time with passive cooling I guess. :) I ordered a Radeon 9250 256MB half height card for it and thats what is installed. I had to fashion a strap out of cardboard to hold the video card evenly with the board. I have motherboard mounts screwed into the box bottom. They were longer than the width of the cardboard so I made a base out of the video card box so that the metal from the mounts would not contact anything.
I still need to install the 2.5 inch hard drive and a USB keyboard and the power and reset buttons too. When I have that together I hope to get going on a Linux install.
My digital camera needed a charge so I took these with my camera phone, hence the quality is not too good, my apologies in advance on that.

That is seriously the most ugly looking computer i have ever seen!

I made my C64 DTV hack on a tupperware, a bizarre case for a computer, but you win with a pizza box! :-D
I hope your Efika works nice at least, my "Tupperdore 64" is a brick now.

Aren't you the bloke who complained that the EFIKA doesn't run OS4 which made you unhappy, so you got a refund?
You seem pretty happy with it now.

Nope thats not me.
With any luck it will at least run MorphOS at some point. If not I'll just use Linux for it. But I'd be very suprised to ever see OS4 support for it!

Thanks! Wow, I googled this C64 DTV thing, I had never heard of that. Also found a hack page on it. Sounds like that was a fun thig to do. :)

@ffastback
If it works, what the heck. ;-)
At least you'll be able to use it while you look for another case.
BTW, congrats. I hope the Efika works out for you.

Please accept my apologies. I thought i'd read something along those lines over at aw.net
Hipe you continue to have fun with your EFIKA now.

That's, uh, an odd-looking case you've got there :)
I'll post my Efika once I get the remaining parts (2.5"->2x3.5" ide cable and picoPSU) next week. I'm not settling with a cardboard box, though. I'm going to build a case out of sheet metal and add a slim cdvd drive. :-)
