It's SAS so the answer is NO.

This is an enterprise level product with enterprise level prices.

Personally myself and most people prefer consumer level prices.

I like this idea above.  If ram prices drop, I think this would be a viable future tech to replace the hard drive.

No, we will probably be using bio-nanotechnology for our storage. Maybe something crazy like http://www.physorg.com/news66555256.html (http://this). Better yet we will be storing things around like in Johnny Mnemonic. You never know.
