A3000 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Amiga-3000-A3000-2-MB-Chip-4-MB-Fast-250-MB-HD-Computer_W0QQitemZ120088361422QQihZ002QQcategoryZ4598QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem)
It's IMMACULATE! And, I could buy it, right now, for 250$. I'd burn the money. In a heartbeat. I want another A3000 again. Problem is, it's only got 4MB of memory and 2.1 roms. I've already asked, but I know these guys will jack the price up, to add all that extra ram and the 3.1 roms. Still, I want this A3000 and I have the money for it.
Now, the GOOD news is, I KNOW these guys. They're the old Randomize company, in Canada. I've ordered from them, YEARS ago and they're *WONDERFUL* people to work with. They helped me find an 030/50 Derringer for my A500 and took 2 16MB simms in trade for a 32MB one, 'cos I bought an Apollo Accelerator that wouldn't work in my two 2000's, with 2 16MB sticks, but didn't want to return the accelerator to them, 'cos it wasn't faulty, it was my motherboards (I felt that since I had paid for a product that worked, being an Amiga, I should keep it, since my hardware was at fault and they needed the money, I'm sure).
So, should I just outright buy it or wait and see if they'll add the 12MB of zips and the 3.1 roms they have?
:-( :-D

thats a AO user I think.. I forget his name though.. too much $ for a A3k.
EDIT: I'd rather have the girl in the pics then anything else on that page.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Yeah, 250$, plus 50$ is expensive for an A3000. There's one I could snipe hunt for around 300$, that's got an 040 and Picasso-II card, that's dying in about 3 hrs. That's a NICE machine, but I know Randomize and if they added the 3.1 roms and the extra 12MB, I think it's worth 250$. :-D
BTW, were you the one who snagged that free A500 that popped up in Austin, about two weeks ago??

That 3000 you speak of with the bouncy things on the page (The ball I mean) actually went through one run on Ebay already and there were no bidders. This is the second time around at $249. I expect that they may drop the price if it doesn't go this time. Especially when you compare it to the other 3000 which is a much nicer machine.

I agree. I wouldn't pay more than 150$ for an A3000, in a stock condition, such as this. I guess I should ask him about the buster, WD SCSI chip, etc., so I won't end up with a turkey, that costs me a lot to upgrade.
I can get an A1200, stock from Matt, over at Amigakit, for 178$, plus shipping. It's the shipping part that worries me the most. :-o
