Title: changing background os 3.5

ok i wanted to change my background
so i go into palette and choose background
then i can choose 1 backdrop called backdrop os3.5.jpg

when i choose this it gets an error

ERROR in IFF file
SYS:prefs/preset/backdrops/640x480/os3.5-backdrop.jpg

what goes wrong? do i need to add an codec for the jpg files or somthing?

who can help?

can you see it with Multiview?

If yes, you have the JPG datatype correctly installed.

Try to chose the fullpath from the ASL requester (i.e NOT SYS: but the actual boot partition)

ok i can see it in multiview
but where to find that asl requester..
i'm pretty noob with workbenches..for me its all very new and different

in SYS:Prefs/WBPattern on the right side of the string field where you see the backdrop image filename.
