not sure which side to take tho microsoft looks very bad to me.

I think when Microsoft started arguing that they didn't export legitimate copies of the software and so are not liable for patent infringement then that is where their case falls apart legally and morally.

They say it's the biggest compliment when someone copies you but stealing your ideas for money is overstepping it.
