haaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
in other words, you can't, you never will, go buy amiga forever

Only Amiga would make a new computer and OS but forget to put it on sale anywhere !

eyetech marketed the machine for a while but either ran out of capital or decided to quit(it didn't help that the chipset designer mai went bankrupt.)
as such it is currently unavailable and will be probably forever. however if we are lucky there are new motherboards made by other companies that might see the light of day. probably not anytime soon tho.

The only place you can find AmigaOnes are on Ebay and your like to pay anything between £500 and £700 for one.
-
You can find them second hand only, unfortunately.

They seem to be having a unexpect failure rate, so be very careful when buying a used A1. Just buy Amgia Forever, better investment, IMO.

So even tho OS4 came out, no one can really run it? Shame I have a PPC/060 1200 at home but im not in my home country!! I think Amiga Forever sucks for many reasons, Im thinking of Amithlon inthe meantime, but I will get an a1 micro somehow! Or some clone.. anything smallish that runs os4, but i dont want to be lumbered with morphos. And the normal a1 is too big.

The same way you buy a Commodore C64 and Basic v2

Indeed, I would even suspect that 50% of all used A1's that you can get on ebay have serious stability problems or other flaws (apart from all the "standard" flaws they have).

I don't think there are this many, and nearly all the stability problems I have heard were caused by wrong vcore settings, insufficient cooling and/or incompatible RAM modules.
