After years of hauling it around the country, it's time for it to go to a good home...
Picture available at http://gallery.burningserver.com/forsale/amiga_superho.JPG.html
That's a working A1000 with 512K, internal drive, external drive (seems to need cleaned and aligned), and 1084 monitor.
Also includes joysticks, Altec Lansing powered speakers, several games, some demos and useful apps, every version of Kickstart/Workbench from 1.0 through 1.3.2, and some other rarely seen genuine Amiga software (e.g. Pascal anyone?)
I'm asking $50 plus shipping. I can work with you on the shipper, but I get pretty good rates from Fedex.
Thanks!
PS- I also have a 1M Insider board, but I suspect it might be defective. I can toss it in too if you like.

Nice, that looks in better shape then my looked after A1000, Damn. Geuss it wasnt used much.
Also, Is that a modem in the picture? Cant quiet see!
Cheers
And your selling it for 50 bucks huh plus shipping, was wondering, are you in Australia, as I am!
And, what would be the postage cost for it, 100 bucks? or less?
Cheers 8-) 8-)

Why mention designers signatures? Makes the sale sound like its something special. All 1000s have this under the cover. In fact, if you had one without the signatures, it would be more valuable.

You should ask more than 50$ for it, or you will regret this later. :-)

First, let me apologize for the delay in posting a reply. Valentine's Day and all... :)
I and my A1000 are located in the US at zip 80403.
No modem in the picture- that's the external floppy.
I had 8 PM's when I checked in this morning- 6 of which were offers to buy... yow! LoadWB you have first dibs. Will send you PM to figure out shipping. One fellow made me an offer on the Pascal disk... maybe we can chat about that too.
@koaftder "Why mention signatures?"
Well, actually it is something special... how many computers have the designers signatures inscribed on them? (Heck it has Jay Miner's dog's paw print for cripes sake! :) Amigas, and A1000 systems in particular, are special for this and many other reasons, and not all (although I'm sure many) potential buyers know this little fact.
Ask more than $50? Naw... I don't need to make a lot of money off of it, just want it to be put to good use. Unlike my horde of Windows/Mac/Linux systems, this one has especially fond memories attached to it. It's the end of an era for me that started in 1985, and although I'm not a particularly sentimental person I've gotta say that selling does actually give me pause.

LoadWB- you've got PM! :) Are you still interested in the system? I'm itching to get it on the truck to you. Thanks!

Sorry, Im staying with my A1000 and sidecar 1060. Hopefully get the sidecar working with it on the weekend.
Im moreso after a newer Amiga like the Amiga One systems, or I might just wait for the new sam440ep board and get OS4 with it!
Cheers!
And again, sorry, I just changed my mind thats all!! 8-) 8-)
