Title: Unable to open your tool 'installer' ?

hi every 1 trying to install idefix97 but i get ann error saying Unable to open your tool 'installer'  ? any ideas?

look for installer in os3.9 utilities.

but im only running 3.1? os 3.9 is want i am planning to install

The Installer utility can be found on the "Install" disk of OS 3.1. I don't remember in which directory it was, but look around, it's either in the root or maybe c:.

Check the tooltypes in the idefix installation icon and make sure that the default tool points to a location on your hard drive where the file 'Installer' is - usually Sys:Utilities/Installer, or C:Installer.

Unpack this and put in your c: drawer
