Title: A4000D for sale possibly?
Post by: Fizzy on February 09, 2007, 02:10:28 PM
Hi,

Having a clearout and realised I haven't really used my 4000 properly in ages, so thinking of selling it.

Its a A4000D 30/25, rev D?  (It has the 030/25 and chip memory built into the board, and a normal pc type button cell battery).  Good condition.

Fitted with the following :-

Cyberstorm 060/50, with scsi adapter and 128mb installed
Picasso IV (FF doesn't appear to be working though)
Araidne Network card
Multiface III io card
Buddha zorro with catweasel II.
Kickstart 3.1
4 GB Ultra ScsiII disk. (Also have a 9 gb, but its loud/noisy).
Slimline version HD floppy drive.
Asus CD r/w drive.

Also have

Clarity 16, 16 bit external sound sampler/player.
Microdeal Pro Midi Interface

Software includes :-
(all original and boxed in good condition)

Workbench 3.5/3.9
Vista Pro
Cinema 4D V3.0, disks and cd
Deluxe Paint IV
Amos Professional
Amos 1.3
Blitz Basic 2.1
Photogenics 2 CD edition
DrawStudio
Brilliance V2.0
MakeCD
Ibrowse

Couple of cd box's full of various cover disks, other original software so theres probably a lot more to list.

Comes with manuals, keyboard, mouse etc.  Also have a commodore 1942 monitor, but there is a problem with it where brighness "flickers" every now and then - apparantly a common problem with them?

I realise this probably isn't exactly the right forum for this, but was after info on what I would likely expect for this, and whether anybody would be interested?  Would sell uk only preferabbly.

I also have a mediator 4000 busboard, adapter, with cd, manuals, PCI audio and network cards - was going to put the 4000 into a tower but never got around to it.

Any help/advice most appreciated.

Some 200/300EUR perhaps? I think you'd get more if you were to pull the Zorro cards from the machine and sell those seperately.
