Title: need hardware update

Hi: I haven't visited here in a while . I wonder if anyone has brought out a system for the new amiga OS4. I was going to purchase a MorphOS machine  but I think they have quit making those also . So my question is has any company or has Amiga introduced a machine so OS4 can run?. Thank you.

Not yet unfortunately. There is a company called ACube Systems (http://www.acube-systems.biz/) that has an end of Q1 release target for one of their boards. A lot of people are hoping that they'll meet it. Troika (http://troikang.com) are supposedly still working. They have a new board nicknamed Panda which is in the hands of one of the OS4 developers.

I really hope that someone manages to get a license to get OS4 onto something based on this (http://pasemi.com/downloads/PA_Semi_Electra_Brief.pdf) eval board. It's got a dual-core 2.0 GHz PowerPC processor on it and uses modern standards such as DDR2 and PCI-Express.
