Title: mediator/aos/chip-ram quastion

hi all. i want know - why if i open directory/driver from WB (to see icons) - icons eat chip ram ?! not uses video memory or fast only chip. maybe present way/tool/patch what can give me , that icons not eat chip memory ?

aos3.9 uses + mediator/voodoo3.

Use SYS:Prefs/Workbench. Set the memory type for icons to Other.

ps. this a very funny: i am reading 'grapshics',
and think 'hmm. gaphics memeory (video card)' ;)
but old-good days and chip = graphics too ;)
