What is the most tricked out a1000 you have heard of?
-
Not mine, but do I win anything for owning four original A1010 external floppy drives?!
Haven't tried plugging the maximum (3) into my A1000, don't want to risk killing the PSU!!!

years ago (90-95) I had an A1000 with AOS 2.1 softkicked on it, the chip mem module + scsi sidebox, along with a (whopping) 80mb external hard drive the size of a shoebox that sounded like a dc-10 on takeoff.. I still had to use the 1.3 kickstart disk, then the 1.3 workbench disk, which determined whether the system was in wb1.3 or 2.x, mount the HD, softkick the 2.1 roms if it was in 1.3, or execute the dh0:s/startup-sequence if in 2.0. Also had an external floppy drive with it, and was plugged into a 1080 monitor. And the classic polygon style mouse, that died due to an alaskan malamute with really long fur. Sitting on top of the 1000 was a stock a500 plugged into the rca ports of the 1080 monitor. I have a photo of this somewhere, I'll post it when I get the chance to scan it.

Another maxxed out a1k is the Frankenthousand, though thats no more in its original case (I think).
A1k.org features a nice showroom sorted by model, you might have alook there at the A1ks.
