Title: How to mount a FAT 16/32 hdd or partition in amiga?
Post by: derringer3 on January 27, 2007, 01:04:29 AM
Somebody might know the answer.

I try to mount a Fat16 formatted hdd on my miggy, But failed. Crossdos, fat95 doesn't work. (croosdos 5 plus, and built in in os 3.9)
I try to set up a partition too, the partition icon showed up, but it is says it unreadable. (formatted in pc-task)

I want to copy files in diropus between amiga and pc partition/hdd.

Any idea?

mountdos (http://www.aminet.net/package/disk/misc/MountDos12) scsi.device 2 fat95 mount

Naturally you need to use correct device and unit for you.

HDToolBox won't really help you.

Invalid flag error would suggest that there is no MBR at all. That's rather weird. Are you sure you're using the correct unit number?

After formatting again my hdd on pc, and using your software everything is working. It is so simple now.

Thank you very much.
