I really need help in knowing information on Contra for the Amiga. I'm not referring to Super C, I'm referring to Contra. Now, don't come in here telling me that it doesn't exist/wasn't released. Because that's not true. I would appreciate any help in explaining stuff about it. Or maybe you know a site where they provide info?

I guess I would start here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contra_series
?

As was discussed at the English Amiga Board (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=27518 (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=27518)) Contra wasn't released on the Amiga but may exist in some form.
It sounds like it was certainly announced but it's hard to tell whether it got any further. It most likely didn't.

Actually, Wikipedia link you provided just gives a list of ports and series of Contra, nothing in detail for the Amiga version. Next, I know it was released because:
A)The Amiga History Page shows the Release Date of it and
B)This guy from the Contra DB forum discussed his small playthrough of the Contra on a real Amiga. Said it was best in terms of graphics and sound, but lacked a proper ending. He showed a screenshot of the first level in the post, but the friggin forums is down indefinitely.

Super C is contra on the Amiga. :-D I actually still own the original disk and the manual that went with it. :-)
