This has got to be one of the worst pics of an amiga in an auction that I've seen in awhile.
Not only is it on a bed, but it looks like its about to fall off!
LOL! (http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-Amiga-4000-Tower-Toaster-Flyer-system_W0QQitemZ180077040395QQihZ008QQcategoryZ4598QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

It doesn't matter :) The AT A4000T is probably the ugliest Amiga that went into production ever.
-
Shocking! No wonder missing it's door :lol:
"Guaranteed not DOA" :lol:
-
Yuk! Nasty picture!
And yes, that case is fugly! Beige PC blandness... Bleugh!

Well, It has two bids! I guess Amiga folks will buy anything..... yikes...
@Akiko,
Yea, also no refunds, no returns :lol:
-
And I'll bet it still goes for $400-$500 dollars :-o
-
It might look ugly to you but any Amiga is beautiful to me!!! :-) Dan

I'm wrong or this one have Toaster+Flyer+Cyberstorm+Cybergraph and so on?
So why isn't a good buy?

Is this one beautiful too :lol:
Obviously what's inside matters a lot. It actually went for £620.00 due to it having a CyberstormPPC :-)

Yeah at first glance I thought that still wet lilac paint was running off the front panel and onto that box :lol:

Ignore me I'm just trying to work out what 3,001,330,335 X 6 is equal to. Oh of course it's 140067018795 :lol:
:eek:
EDIT - changed my calculation in case the buyer really does want to keep his identity to himself ;-)

Ugly or not, since the release of IBrowse 2.4, I've been deeply inspired to replace my girlfriend's UltraSparc 20 with a functional Amiga.
I don't know if bidding was a good idea or not, but, que sera, sera.

"One should not judge a book by it's cover".
Not sure if it applies to this computer. :-? :-?

Well considering the last two CyberstormPPC's that I saw go through Ebay went for £465.00 and £485.00, I think you did the right thing. Especially as you have a Grex and an A4000 Desktop as well. Prehaps a second coat of lilac though :lol:

An A4000T without a door is like a scooter.
It is still fun to ride but you don't want your mates to see.
-
But... I won't have a A4000D or G-Rex...
-
@AMC258
Sorry but I thought you were coming forward as the buyer of old lilac :cry:
To be honest, the maximum bid of the winner could have been anything up to £1,000. Ain't it annoying when you don't know how high you would have had to bid :-x
