Title: Wanted: GVP 1230 Turbo SIMMS

I'm looking for a bit of the special RAM you need on a GVP 1230 Turbo accel card.  I currently have 4MB on there, and would like another 4 or 8MB simm.

On Amigakit (http://www.amigakit.com) they sell that type of RAM.

No way, A1230 uses special 64 pin GVP ram. No online shop currently has them. Softhut says they can make a production run if there's enough demand, but I don't know how many actually they need to get ordered to make a production run.

Btw, GVP rams are either 4 or 16 mb. There no 8 mb simms, and you better buy a 16 SIMM for future expansion.

@ mschafe: if you get the chance of getting a large simm for your GVP, would you consider selling your 4 MB to me?

I have a bare 1230 accelerator with no memmory at all and would like to put some..

Yeah, I figured since their site says 'Coming in 2002' on a lot of things, i'd email them first  :-)

The hack is well known in France (published in Amiganews magazine).
