Well he hasn't posted to his umilator blog (http://www.umilator.net/blog/) for god knows how long...
-
I'm sure there's plenty of news on the Bernd front, none on the Umilator front however.
This market rewards vapor, and punishes real products. Life goes on. :-(

I'm sure he keeps meaning to... :-D
Seriously, I suspect Bernie's new real job is eating up most of his time these days. Only time will tell if we ever see any more of his work on the Amiga scene, but I wouldn't hold my breath in any case.
Bernie committed the ultimate sin of an Amiga programmer: he produced the goods. Such depravity always has its price, and certain individuals have been doing their best to drive him away, with some success it would seem.
I only hope those responsible for doing this get what they richly deserve one day.

I still can't get over just how F*ing wrong this mess is.
I bet there's many out there who would be amazed at the doors Umilator would have opened.
I want to punch something, hard.

Is there an Amiga fan alive that doesn't? :-(

Hey, we agree! ;-)
Yup, it sure is a ####ed up situation!

Surely you mean SOMEONE? I would like to beat the H&P management until my arms fall off. AmigaOSXL hasn't had any updates for over a year now and with Amithlon2 is almost certainly buried.
I would never have paid the £100 if I knew that Bernie wasn't going to see any of it.

Nice one. everybody wants an escape goat.
H&P runs a business. that means they have to have money in. Amiga Inc. runs their business like a piggy bank. *damn wankers*. If A inc wasn't so uptight about their stupid "roadmap", there would be a Umilator and everybody would get paid. now go lick your tweety :-D

Last Bernie news here (http://www.pegasos-au.com/images/berniepegasos.jpg)....
;-)
R&B :-)

He he. Nice one bbrv. He seems a good asset to have for some backwards stuff :-)
One is certainly tempted by the prospects.

Has nothing to do with Amiga inc.

without starting any wars, I belive it has.
the reason why this all became a problem was A.inc ip that caused the question about legality of the Umilator/Amithlon.
H&P called the bluff on A.inc and Bernie got stuck in the middle. Had A.inc wanted to make a deal with H&P they could have, and by that enabeling the validity of the Umilator. feel free to repost.
