I just re-installed AmiKit and had about 2 docen instances of the "Happy New Year Virus 96"...
Anyone have that?
-
Which files ? Which Amikit revision (last ?) ?
-
Yes. I'm not quite sure if they came via the download update or the rom scan of my older AF2006 files...
I'm going to reinstall Amikit use the AF CD roms, then check my AF harddrive files with Amikit (if its clean.)
-
yea...it was my AF2006...Probably some of the warezware I found last week...

Delving back into the catacombs of the olden days of Amiga is like opening a crypt with an ancient curse people forgot about i guess. :-(

I manged to do a clean install of AmiKit using the AF2006 CD. Then cleaned everything up in my AF directories using AmiKit AntiVirus. I'm so impressed with AmiKit...I just added my humble donation to their pot!
:-D

Could you change/edit the topic, please Wizardo? :-)

No Problem Framiga....Done...Is it an issue of "bad publicity"? Didn't mean that at all...
For the record....(to those who don't know already...)
Amikit is awesome,
specially if you don't have a real Amiga!
